Aims and Scope

Aims

  1. Providing scientific services to the higher education system to foster the transformation and advancement of universities;
  2. Addressing the country's needs in the field of higher education;
  3. Creating an intellectual environment for domestic and international researchers to discuss the latest scientific achievements and findings in interdisciplinary university studies;
  4. Striving for the establishment of an interdisciplinary field of university studies;
  5. Promoting interdisciplinary convergence among history, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, political science, and education in researching universities as historical, social, cultural, and political institutions;
  6. Facilitating critical discussions on cultural and social issues related to higher education and universities in Iran;
  7. Analyzing the achievements of Iranian universities in social, cultural, and political domains, and systematically defending them;
  8. Encouraging conceptual and methodological innovations to deeply understand and explain issues related to universities in Iran.
