The scholarly quarterly of Universities Studies (JOUS) is published by the Institute for Cultural, Social, and Civilizational Studies in collaboration with the Iranian Association of Higher Education. This journal features articles on topics such as the history of universities, the philosophy of universities, cultural and social studies of universities, as well as the cultural and social issues of students, faculty members, and staff working within the higher education system of the country.

As the journal aims to produce and promote knowledge, as well as critique existing works, perspectives, and theories, it welcomes, as much as possible, the promotional articles, review articles, and book reviews within the aforementioned fields.

Publication of article in JOUS dose not requires Article Processing Charge.

All the articles is open access to the public.
